Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Akagera National Park
Your safari begins with a warm welcome at Kigali International Airport, where you will be picked up and taken on a fascinating Kigali city tour. You’ll explore the cultural heart of Rwanda, visiting landmarks such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial and the bustling local markets. Afterward, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Akagera National Park, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by nature.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Ride at Lake Ihema
Start your day early with a morning game drive in Akagera National Park, home to a rich diversity of wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelope. The park is also renowned for its birdlife, making it a great spot for birdwatching. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Ihema, where you’ll have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Batwa Experience
After breakfast, you’ll travel to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its population of mountain gorillas. The journey includes a stop at the Batwa village, where you will have the opportunity to experience the traditional culture of the Batwa Pygmies, the forest’s original inhabitants, and learn about their rich heritage and connection to the land.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
