Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi National Park

The journey from Kampala to Bwindi usually takes around 8-9 hours by road, depending on the route you choose. You can either drive yourself or hire a private driver/guide for a more comfortable experience. Once you reach Bwindi, you can settle into your accommodation and prepare for the gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Experience

This is the highlight of your visit to Bwindi National Park. The trekking duration can vary, ranging from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Once you find them, you will spend a precious hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After the gorilla trek, you can participate in a Batwa experience.
